Wine Down with a Twist: Wine and Barrels Edition, a premier event organized by the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Gamma Omega Chapter and the Ivy Alliance Foundation. This fundraiser is an annual event to raise funds for our Educational Advancement Foundation, Alberta Gant/Mattie Harvey Endowment. Funds from this endowment go to fund scholarships for students showing economic excellence and financial need.

The Wine Down with a Twist: Wine and Barrels Edition is set to be a sophisticated and memorable afternoon, combining a great selection of wine and bourbon tastings along with an open bar featuring black-owned spirits, hors d’oeuvres, and live entertainment featuring Danita Mumphard and the Premier PROtainment Band. We are excited to have our Uncle Nearest Experience with signature drinks on our beautiful cigar patio. Our patio will feature The Victory Torch Cigars with cigars for purchase. The Betterment Road, Inc. and Verve Company Events and Marketing LLC present A Tribute Concert. Stevie Wonder and Stephanie Mills featuring Danita Mumphard and Julius Williams. Hosted by Tracey J of 88.7 WSIE The Sound. All proceed go toward the Betterment Road, Inc. after school program. Doors open at 6PM

Enjoy Danita Mumphard and her jazz trio for a concert in the Reading Garden at Sachs Branch in Chesterfield. Partrons are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, and coolers. All ages are welcomed. Free and open to the public

Musician and educator Harvey Lockhart hosts the Kranzberg Jazz Jam every first Thursday of the month at the Lewis and Clark Branch. Each jam will feature a performance by some of St. Louis' finest jazz musicians, along with the opportunity for local musicians from the community to participate. Local musicians should bring their instruments. Keyboard and drums will be provided. All ages. Admission is Free and Open to the public.
